Foundation
The New
Mexico Lions Crane Reading Program is the signature project for the Lions Clubs of New Mexico. The Program was
recognized as one of the three outstanding Lion’s service project at the 2005 Lions Clubs International
Convention in Hong Kong. The New Mexico Lions
Crane Reading Foundation advocates and supports the New Mexico Lions Crane
Reading Program. The Foundation is
incorporated in the State of New
Mexico and is governed by a Board of Directors. At their June 2006 meeting, the Board of Directors elected George Mulholland as
president, Bill Davis as 1st vice president, Allen Crane as 2nd
vice president, John Miller as treasurer and Eldon Steelman as secretary for
the term June 2, 2006 through June 2, 2007.
The ongoing operations of the Foundation are conducted by a working
group consisting of Las Cruces,
New Mexico residents George
Mulholland, Allen
Crane, John Miller, Eldon Steelman and Michael
Swickard. The working group meets
most every week.
